Building a Foundation
In 2018, NMCC developed a new program called the Financial & Business Basics , now called Business & Marketing Essentials (BME) to assist Indigenous families in developing better business tools, address issues of debt, and learn how to apply these principles at home, in the community, and in small locally-owned businesses.
BME is an educational initiative that builds a solid foundation to form and grow business ideas with a household financial plan for success, by combining financial literacy concepts, business basics, plus media & marketing, our programs are designed to build a foundation to conceptualize, plan and implement financial goals and business approaches across their brand.

Community Impact
New Mexico Community Capital is proud to have impacted 125+ Pueblo households across New Mexico over the past 3 years. In addition, we have launched an FBB course in Michigan Fall 2020 and are grateful to execute this work successfully by being a recipients of a W.K. Kellogg grant.
NMCC strives to provide programs and services that shifts economic power - household by household, family by family - and increased access to economic mobility in Indigenous communities . These are achieved by increasing the capacity of Indigenous Peoples to achieve financial stability and use digital tools to diversify and help stabilize their local economies through formal and informal entrepreneurial endeavors.
