Star Petals: Single Drop with Pearls: SAGE

She is a connection across realms, the single drop Star Petal is a star from Sky World and yet is represented as a flower here on Mother Earth. She tells a story of Haudenosaunee cosmology and spirituality that illustrates how we come from the stars and when we leave this physical world, it is to the stars that we return. This piece colors the picture of how we are attached to our ancestors and that we must merely look to our surroundings to feel them and to the skies to see them.
